Here is kind of a cool photo from the other day. It wasn’t too windy so my brother and I were just messing around to get some unique photos. I kind of liked this one. I think the wake from his board is going over my camera like a wave. I am shooting with a fisheye lens so he is a lot closer than he looks in the photo.

So this photo is more on the abstract side. I like this one because it captured a quick moment before the wave swallowed me up. A window of hope…..It still amazes me how a photo can stop a moment in time. It is so cool……Think about that the next time you take a photograph.

The kids are surfing so good these days. I was watching the NSSA National Championships and was amazed with the surfing talent. Kids ten and under ripping, girls doing airs, it was amazing. The kid in this photo (sorry didn’t catch his name) pretty much did this air over me. I feel like surfing is making another huge step and should get really exciting in the next few years.
