Another photo from the archive. This photo was shot with a SPL water housing and a Nikon F100 with a 50mm lens. I used Velvia 50 film, I love Velvia the saturation it produces is amazing!!! If you are learning to shoot surf photography I recommend learning with a longer lens rather then just swimming out there with a fisheye. Using a longer lens will help you learn how to be in the right spot and timing. It also allows you to not be so close to the surfer, this is a good thing when learning so you can slowly get comfortable out there.

Velvia 50 is a nice film for late or early in the day. The bit of flare in the photo really adds to this moment.
